Dr. Shalini Kapoor, ND, MPH

Board-Certified Naturopathic Physician Specializing in Functional Medicine

Dr. Kapoor is a board-certified Naturopathic Physician specializing in Functional Medicine at Om Integrative Medicine. With a deep passion for healing, she focuses on treating chronic conditions using a balanced, integrative approach that blends the best of Eastern and Western medicine.

Dr. Kapoor earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from NUNM in 2009 and holds a Master’s in Epidemiology and Public Health (MPH) from Yale University. Her extensive training includes work at prestigious institutions such as Yale University School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, UNICEF, World Vision and the University of Natal in South Africa. Additionally, she has studied under renowned masters of homeopathy and Ayurvedic medicine in India, allowing her to seamlessly merge modern science with time-tested natural therapies.

With her unique background and compassionate approach, Dr. Kapoor empowers patients to take charge of their health by addressing the root causes of illness, not just the symptoms. Alexander has been a medical professional for 14 years, with a diverse background spanning various specialties such as Primary Care, Family Medicine, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Infusion, Phlebotomy, Urgent Care, and more. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care by attentively listening to patients’ needs and leveraging his extensive experience to address their concerns. Beyond the clinic he is a Certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach and has written many health and fitness blogs as well as the book titled “Well-Rounded.” His multifaceted expertise aligns cohesively with the ethos of Om Integrative Medicine, where he aspires to advocate for the core belief of “shifting the focus from disease maintenance to health promotion.
